A diversified range of tankers

Ultratank provide a diversified range of tankers services in terms of size, type, segment and trades engaged in. The company’s fleet consists of units ranging between smaller coastal units of 5.000 dwt up to Handysize, Panamax and up to Aframax units of 115.000 dwt. Type of vessel operated are oil, product and chemical tankers.

The company operate a fleet of chemical tankers, all of which are of about 20.000 dwt in size, as well as servicing segments via their participation in pool arrangements such as Panamax International (PI), which offers modern double-hull DPP and Crude Oil Carriers in the 70 to 75k dwt range, CPTA (Clean Products Tankers Alliance) which operates clean product tankers in the 45 to 55.000 dwt segment and Andes Tankers, an alliance who operates modern double-hull DPP and Crude Oil Aframaxes of 115.000 dwt. All three Pools are 100% commercially managed by our affiliated companies Cape Tankers and Products Tankers Management Company (PTMC). 

The fleet are also engaged in diversified manners ranging from meeting COA commitments, on time-period employment, spot and cabotage activities.

Activities are primarily focused on coastal and regional trades, in the America’s, although larger units are also involved in global trading. Ultratank business platform facilitates the trading of vessels directly in the market and via their participation in pool services.
